Professor Ünal received his Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from the University of Southern California and also taught as a Professor. Over the last 20 years he has worked on a large variety of Supply Chain Planning, Scheduling and Optimization projects as a researcher, designer and developer with Global-2000 clients from around the world.

He is an expert in applying artificial intelligence based algorithm capabilities to complex planning problems in order to attain better streamlined and optimized supply chains with built-in flexibility to handle fluctuations in real-time.

In addition he is the founder and CTO of ICRON Technologies, a software developer of advanced algorithm based planning, scheduling and optimization solutions. He is a well sought after lecturer and also teaches at Bogazici University.
